For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a
Subsystem Engineer (m/f/d) Propulsion
Your Tasks
Propulsion Systems Engineer (m/f/d) for the development of a new space projects, also in frame of future in-space transportation concepts
The scope spans from early development up to realization phase for projects, including both classical or new technologies
As part of the satellite team, coordination of propulsion requirements and technical interfaces within the satellite platform and with the subcontractor
Align with parallel technology developments
Performing analyses to size and support design of the subsystem
Definition of the verification philosophy on subsystem and component levels and specification of test requirements for platform testing
Technical management of procurement activities for subsystem and equipment from suppliers, with support by the central procurement organization within OHB System
Generation of technical documentation, e.g. specifications, trades, analyses
Planning, coordination and control of design and analysis activities
Support to subsystem MAIT activities
Support proposal activities
Your Qualifications
Degree in aerospace engineering, physics or comparable qualification
Ideally, some years of professional experience in space industry in the propulsion domain
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
Accustomed to work in teams with well-developed communication skills
AIT experience would be of advantage
Experience in Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering
Fluent in written and spoken English, German language skills are advantageous
