Senior Director Finance (m/f/d)
Location: Osnabrück, Berlin or Hamburg
As Senior Director Finance, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the finance department. You will play a key role in financial planning, analysis and reporting, ensure on-budget invoicing to customers and projects, organize and manage bank and shareholder financing and thus contribute to the long-term financial health of the company.
In your position, you will complement the management team of the CEO and COO and, with your financial expertise, help to ensure that the operational areas also continue to develop the business with the desired commercial competence.
Your tasks:
- Financing: Strategic and operational management as well as management and development of the finance team.
- Reporting: Ensuring transparent and regular reporting in accordance with HGB and IFRS at Group and individual company level.
- Budget and controlling: Developing, monitoring and ensuring compliance with budget targets and budget monitoring of energy efficiency projects.
- Liquidity planning and cash management: Ensuring short and medium-term liquidity planning and management as well as responsibility for treasury management and optimizing the financial structure.
- Risk management: Establishing and monitoring effective risk management systems.
- Coordination of tax advisors and auditors: Cooperation with external advisors to ensure tax compliance and the proper execution of audits.
- Compliance: Monitoring and adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
- ERP systems and digital systems: Support of the ERP system. Initiation and implementation of projects for the digitalization and optimization of financial processes.
- Financing models: Design, implementation and support of hybrid financing models that combine equity and debt capital sources. Identification of financing options, including public subsidies and private investments.
- General administration: Monitoring insurance requirements and organizing the appropriate insurance cover. Ensuring payroll accounting in cooperation with our external service provider.
Your profile
- Education: Degree in business administration, finance, economics or a comparable field of study.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in a management position in the financial sector, ideally in the field of energy services.
- Communication skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills and business fluent in German and English.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical and strategic skills.
- Intercultural competence: Ability to work in an international organization and lead intercultural teams.
