Your tasks:
- Participation in the regular risk identification process and interdisciplinary risk discussions, risk reporting
- Coordination and communication with foreign units/branches regarding risk management issues
- Risk assessment and control activities as part of the internal control system (ICS)
- Fundamental issues of risk management and the corresponding risk governance
- Carrying out risk analyses in the area of spin-offs, operational risks and in the context of new business areas / new product processes
- Preparation of meetings of the Risk Committee of HDI Global SE and preparation of decision papers for the Executive Board
- Individual analyses of risk-relevant topics from an economic, technical and legal perspective
- Collaboration in projects / project-like activities on the topic of risk management / Solvency II
Your profile
- Completed studies (Bachelor's/Master's) in economics, law or a related degree programme with a specialisation in a field related to property insurance, ideally in risk management
- Several years of professional experience in risk management, a thematically related or property insurance-related field of activity desirable (e.g. auditing)
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with quantitative risk management topics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of enthusiasm, persuasiveness and assertiveness as well as strong communication, presentation and written skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office package, further IT knowledge an advantage
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
