For our Machine, Cryogenics, Superconductivity (MCS) BU based in Hannover/Germany which is part of the Acceleration Units Business Group, we are looking for a
Production Manager MCS (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilites

• Responsibility for the production management of the MCS division as well as professional and disciplinary responsibility for the employees within scope
• Efficient planning and organization of production processes as well as compliance with quality standards, processes, and controls
• Implementation of control and management systems to ensure timely completion and delivery according to order requirements
• Proactive implementation of 5S, Lean Management, and Just-in-Time (JiT) procedures in the production area
• Improvement of quality results to ensure higher customer satisfaction and promotion of a zero-defect mentality
• Design and implementation of an industry plan and dashboard to increase productivity as well as implementation of initiatives and measures for cost optimization
• Close collaboration with customers, business partners, suppliers, as well as internal departments such as MCS Executive Management Team, HSE manager, and sales and marketing teams

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree, e.g. in mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in comparable management positions for an industrial OEM including mechanical and electrical manufacturing; experience in the field of Machine and Automation production will be a plus
• Experience in quality management and process definition/implementation will be an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Analytical, results-oriented, capability to develop service strategies in cooperation with Nexans international units, external and technology partners
• Commitment and ability to motivate your own team
